摘要:郭店儒简(即郭店竹简中的儒简文献)的学术价值是为我们提供了研究从孔子到孟子之间的桥梁。目前,国内外学术界关于郭店儒简的前期研究主要集中在两大派系上:一是在古文字学领域内进行的以文字识别为主导的“文本释读型”研究;二是在思想史领域内进行的以学脉考证为旨归的“文本利用型”研究。由于这两大研究派系在方法上各有其利弊,因此,充分权衡这两大派系的各自利弊以扬长避短,才是客观解读郭店儒简之哲学义理的正确路向。本论文的研究就是立足于现有郭店儒简的文本释读和思想考证基础之上的一种哲学义理层面的探究,其目的是为了满足于儒学内部那种“道贯于一”的传承特质,以重点诠释“孔孟之间”的学理传承脉络。
论文的构思是这样的:首先,从现有郭店儒简文献所涵盖的儒家思想幅度入手,将论文考察的主要内容大致划分为由“内圣”依次开出“外王”的五个板块——即心性论、德行论、天人论、仁义论和政治论。其次,再围绕这五大板块中的任一主题作为研究的切入点分别进行相关的文献梳理和义理探究,重点揭示其中每一个主题及其相关问题在孔孟思想的脉络衍进中所扮演的“桥梁”式作用来进行哲学义理上的“架接”,以尽可能历史地“还原”处于“孔孟之间”的这段儒学内在发展理路的本然面目。
本论文的研究文本并未仅仅拘泥于郭店儒简这“一重”地下文献,必要时还尽可能地援引上博简的儒家竹简文献来旁证,而且为了加强这种旁证的力度,还将在必要时结合现有的地上文献——主要是《礼记》中的《中庸》、《坊记》、《表记》、《淄衣》等篇已获学界公论的子思学派的材料来加以辅证。这种“取地下之实物与纸上之遗文互相释证”的研究方法,就是近代王国维先生主张的“二重证据法”。

Guodian Confucian Bamboo Slips and the Tao from Confucius to Mencius
Abstract: The academic significance of Guodian Confucian Bamboo Slips (GCBS) is like a bridge between Confucius and Mencius studies. At present, the earlier research on GCBS in the academia at home and abroad can be divided into two types: one focuses on the character recognition and text hermeneutic study of GCBS in Chinese paleography; and the other aims at the GCBS' intellectual originality in the Chinese intellectual history, which is also called the GCBS' "text-implication" study. Since these two approaches toward GCBS are so different that it is very necessary for us to make full use of them so as to interpret the GCBS' philosophical meaning in its right way. This dissertation focuses on the GCBS' philosophical meaning based on their earlier studies, explores the sole Tao of the Confucianism in GCBS and clarifies the heritage between Confucius and Mencius.
This dissertation has been organized as the following: firstly, starting with the Confucianism in GCBS, the dissertation mainly discusses five parts from "being inner sage" to "ruling the outside world": temperament, moral integrity, heaven and man, kindheartedness and justice, and politics. Secondly, concerning any topic of these five aspects, this paper conducts a detailed study of any documents concerning GCBS and clarifies any aspects of the bridge role of GCBS in the course of Confucianism and Menciusism.
This dissertation is not limited to this important GCBS, the underground document, uses evidences from other Confucian Bamboo Slips to prove Zisi's documents, which mainly focus on "Zhongyong" (The Golden Mean of Confucianism), "Fangji" (record of workshop), "Biaoji" and "Ziyi". This approach is learned from Wang Guowei's research method of "Dual Evidence Verification".
